Intro to Gouache Workshop at Green Wolf Brewing Co. April 6th 12pm-3pm
This Workshop is open to Teens and Adults.
Payment and sign-up is required in advance to cover the cost of materials. Refunds will not be offered for no-shows. If you are unable to attend, please let me know asap or feel free to send someone in your place.
One drink is included with this class (non-alcoholic options available...and required depending on age:).
Gouache is an opaque watercolor, with different properties from watercolor and acrylic.
This is a no pressure class! Experience is not necessary and all materials will be provided. Guidance will be given at the beginning of class to help attendees understand both the challenges and possibilities of painting with gouache. After a few short exercises everyone will be able to work on their own projects at their own pace.
If you just want to experiment with the materials, great!...but feel free to bring in a reference image or object for inspiration, if you prefer! For those looking for more guidance, additional prompts and exercises will be offered.
Samples and references will be provided for each step.
